I had a crazy dream last night 8/

So I was at the edge of the universe I guess with someone I presume to be my father (though he looked nothing like my actual dad) and a dog. The ground was grass but it gave way to a blue pulsing light as if the ground became solid light to walk on the closer it got to the 'edge', which was like a completely black wall. I couldn't see anything solid, it reflected no light so it was true black, but I just sort of felt the presence of a barrier in front of me. I walked through and ended up inside a house, I think the dog followed me but my dad stayed behind, and in the house was another version of my dad. I saw he was playing with a toddler, but it was transparent to me. I think whoever that toddler was seemed to be a child that he had lost in his life, and because it never met me we couldn't interact. I began to fear that he couldn't see me at all, but as I turned away he grabbed me and we were all happy.

Then it was night time, and suddenly the dog comes ripping around the corner flipping out, and I had no idea why, so I thought there was something outside. As I go to open the door, he barks madly and grabs my leg pleading me not to go outside, but I do anyway but as soon as I step out and turn to my right, there was another version of my dog suddenly appeared, like just blinking into existence, but his eyes were glowing green and I just got this overwhelming fearful sense so I ran back inside, locked the door, and made sure there were no openings to get into the house. I was hysterical and told my dad to not go outside, then somehow we suddenly had a black and white cat and it was grooming itself, but it;'s eyes were flashing green much brighter than they should have been if it was simply how cat's eyes work, but not as bright as the alternate dog's, so I started screaming at it and kicking it and it's eyes started glowing brighter and it became more violent, I think I ended up killing it but felt regret, and wondered if I would have just left it alone it wouldn't have turned into whatever those other things were.

Then I was asleep in my bed, and I saw that alternate dog standing in my doorway, and when I say standing I mean literally like 7 feet tall on it's two back legs, just staring off, and then it pulled like a Slenderman and immediately it's face was right in front of me as if it teleported but instead of the fuzzy noise with slenderman it just stayed there, and then I woke up

Thinking back to what I saw now, I think my dad was actually my step dad, which would explain the toddler I never knew. And with those weird beings, I think the house was some sort of safe spot provided there are no openings to the outside and they only appear at night. I also think that they take over the real versions, because I remember the dog splayed on the ground having spasms and in pain, but he had a strong soul so the alternate one couldn't take over at that point because the house provided limited magical protection since it wasn't outside. As for the cat I have no idea, it seemed to be always there but I didn't see it till that one scene, and I think my dad had actually stepped through after me because I don't think that dad would be able to see/know me otherwise.

I almost want to make a story on this, because those beings were freaky and cool. Sure I was terrified but it was a dream. They sort of seem like slenderman/weeping angel mixed cause they move really fast, and though when I saw it first outside the house it was on all fours like my dog, it like changed it's body structure I guess and had really long arms and legs. They seem to react to fear, but as long as you are in an enclosed space they can't enter as long as the doors and windows are shut. Even if there is a crack like that bit of space under the door, as long as they can't just walk right in you're safe.
